Words of Encouragement: 3 Powerful Keys to Achieve Your Goals and Live Your Best Life

W

More dreams die due to a lack of courage rather than a lack of means to achieve them.

That means one of the most underrated words in the world is words of encouragement.

An encouraged mind finds a way, but a discouraged mind can be shown a way and still sit on it rather than walk it.

Today’s wisdom lesson is meant to give you words of encouragement. These inspirational words will help you achieve your goals and live your best life, forever!

The three keys are:

Key 1. The Principle of One Thing

Word of Encouragement: Focusing on one thing at a time, increases your chances of achieving your goal; but focusing on too many things at a time, increases your chances of quitting on all of them.

Learn to narrow down all your desires to one main desire at a time.

This year only hold “One thing” that you desire for your life, or for your Business.

Just one main thing.

A person who desires too many things at once will likely end up with none.

Don’t try to catch 2 birds with one stone, you will catch none.

When the year begins, I normally tell members of my life classes…

Don’t write many resolutions. Too many resolutions are a sign that you lack resolution.

– MOFFAT MACHINGURA

As a principle, make one main resolution per year – and focus on that.

If it’s starting a certain business – just focus on that, and nothing else.

My side: If it’s reaching a certain number of readers for my books or blog – I will just focus on that for a year – nothing more, nothing less.

…Learn the Power of the One Thing️ Principle.

If you really want to do something in a great way, let that ONE thing be the only thing you focus on doing.

– MOFFAT MACHINGURA

Having too many things to do will only make you feel overwhelmed before you even start – that’s why most people quit on their resolutions before even the first month of the year ends.

Though your heart can desire many things, God gifted your mind with only one focus.

– MOFFAT MACHINGURA

Write your One Main Thing in your notebook today, and spend all your focus on making it happen for the next year.

You will achieve more when you follow the Principle of One Thing because the most powerful distractions to success are NOT out there…

They are within us.

Our greatest distractions are those many things we desire to pursue, while in the middle of pursuing something else. 😊

2. The Principle of the Seeker

Word of Encouragement: If you keep looking, you will end up finding.

What is a Seeker?

To Seek is to diligently search for something, usually over a long time. A person who seeks is called a Seeker.

Only failure comes by accident, if you want success you have to step out and look for it.

– MOFFAT MACHINGURA

You have to be a Seeker!

Only lies and half-truths come so easily to your ears – if you really want the truth about how people succeed in marriage, business, and life, you have to step out and diligently seek that truth.

Only dust and dirt gather in your house on their own; if you want beautiful furniture, healthy food on your table, and the car of your dreams in your garage – those my friend, you have to step out and look for them.

It’s NOT enough to desire, desire must be followed by action for it to change your life

In my book Life Capsules for Success, I wrote that,

It’s not big ideas that change the world, it is the action that follows them.

– MOFFAT MACHINGURA

Just as I wrote in the article

Action my friend, is the magic wand that turns the dreams spoken by our hearts into tangible things held in our hands.

The Promise of the Seeker

If you are looking for a better life

If you are looking for a better relationship, a better marriage, or even a better you!

Don’t give up!!!

If you look for something long enough, you finally get it.

I call that the “Promise of the Seeker.” It is the Universe’s promise to all beings.

The promise is as old as time itself and it echoes throughout the ages. That’s why over 2000 years ago Jesus said:

Seek and you shall find, knock and it shall be opened, ask and it shall be given to you… for whosoever seeks, finds.

– JESUS CHRIST

The Advantage of the Seeker

One day while studying military strategy, I had a spark of understanding that showed me the power of seeking…

He who starts a battle has an advantage over the one who will defend after being attacked.

The offensive has more control over the battle than the defensive.

– MOFFAT MACHINGURA

The same applies in life,

Don’t wait for problems to attack, stand up and build your life against them before they do – and they will never attack you.

  • Attack poverty before it attacks you (by managing and investing your money before any crisis).
  • Attack sickness before it attacks you (by living and eating healthy rather than falling sick and start looking for healing).
  • Attack evil before evil attacks you (by living right so that wrong never feels at home in your life).

He who fights the enemy first has a better chance of victory than he who defends oneself from the attack of the enemy.

In Africa, there is a proverb that says

Not all who chased the gazelle caught it, but all those who caught it, chased it.

That means

If you really want something, don’t let your fear of failing to catch it make you fail to chase it.

– MOFFAT MACHINGURA

You have to chase it to catch it.

The Bushmen of the Kalahari chase an animal the whole day and catch it when it has run tired.

That is a lesson for you and me, that…

You will find what you are looking for if you keep looking for it long enough.

– MOFFAT MACHINGURA

Go well my friend, the Seeker!

I no longer pray that you find what you looking for – because I know you will find it.

I only pray that you find the strength to keep chasing it till you catch it.

3. The Principle of Dwelling

Word of Encouragement: Don’t be quick to let go, the best things in life take time.

What is to Dwell?

To dwell is to stay in a place rather than just visit it.

When you visit a place, you don’t even need to unpack your bags.

But if you are dwelling in a place, you unpack your bags, plant gardens, and even plant trees in that place.

The Power of Dwelling

Sometimes you don’t get to see the beauty of your business idea, because you are too quick to walk out before you have stayed long enough to see its profits.

Many don’t get to see the beauty of their love relationships, because they are bad at settling down. They find good partners but keep searching for more lovers.

Learn to settle down.

Settling down doesn’t mean you don’t have anywhere to go, it means you are now mature enough to understand that wanderers can’t build anything.

– MOFFAT MACHINGURA

I took 7 Years writing that Best-selling book How I Kissed Heartbreak Goodbye

Now it has been read in almost every part of the world, I get thank you messages from as far as Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, China, UK, USA and even many parts of Africa.

If I didn’t have the 7-year patience and discipline of DWELLING in the idea of “kissing heartbreak Goodbye,” none of us would be benefiting from that book today

I had to dwell in that idea, in order to see and manifest its beauty and benefits.

Be Patient

You can’t get a baby in 3 months by getting 3 women pregnant.

Life is for the patient. The best things in life take time.

Some business ideas take time, so don’t quit now!

Some things in life are like school – you don’t have a right to say education is useless if you only enter a classroom for one day.

You have to dwell in it for years, learn to write and read, and advance your education – to see education transforming your life.

Special Message to You

If you really want the wisdom you find on this website to work for you, then aim to dwell on this website for the whole year rather than just visit for one day.

Listen…

You have probably spent all your life (26 years, or 40 years) ruining your life, and you think you will just find wisdom that solves all that in one article???

Or you have been exposed to wrong beliefs and unwise thoughts all your life, and you just think you will undo all that in just one day?

No! It doesn’t work that way.

I say stay here for some months if not years. Ask Questions in the comment section. Get Answers. Try out the new ideas. If it works, keep it. If it doesn’t – let’s work out another way!

I won’t give up on you, don’t give up on yourself!!!

Bottom Line

When you find a good idea, a good relationship, or any good thing to do

Know this…

You have to dwell in it, in order to see the beauty of it 😊

Don’t just be placed on it, be planted into it. 😊

Stay long enough till you are fruitful in it.

Don’t be just a visitor, be a resident.

Unpack your bags. Settle down!
